PNB Contract Extended

As with most arts organizations in Seattle, the Pacific Northwest Ballet has also found challenges in the current recession as theater-goers and donors cut back on their discretionary expenditures. The Ballet Orchestra agreed to a one-season delay in the implementation of the 2009-10 portion of the contract, essentially a one-season pay-freeze. The original terms for the 2009-10 season will begin instead in the following 2010-11 season, and the contract will extend an additional year, to 2012.
