Baunton is a member of the Seattle Symphony and has served his orchestra as Players’ Committee Secretary and Chair, Chair of its Negotiating Committee and as a representative to ICSOM. Currently he is a member of its Bylaw Committee. He also served the AFofM as a member of the Seattle Locals’ Board of Directors and Chair of its Bylaw Committee.

Hemphill is a member of the San Francisco Symphony and has served his orchestra as Players’ Committee Chair, member of its Negotiating Committee, and as a representative to ICSOM. He also served on the ICSOM Structure Committee which issued a report and recommendations on the restructuring of the AFofM. He currently serves his orchestra as Chair of its Players’ Committee.

Kristine Crandall plays second horn in the Tucson Symphony Orchestra.  She has been a member of the orchestra since 1974.  She is currently Vice Chair of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra Musicians Organization and a member of the Board of Directors for the Tucson Symphony. 

Ms. Crandall holds a Master of Music Degree in Performance from Northwestern University, and her Bachelor of Music Degrees in Performance and Music Education are from the University of Arizona.  Honors include memberships in the Northwestern University Chapter of Pi Kappa Lambda, a National Honorary Music Society and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi-University of Arizona Chapter.

Kocmieroski is a member of the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra. He has served his orchestra as founding Vice-chair of the Players’ Organization and drafted its bylaws. He is currently serving as Recording Secretary, Chair of the Bylaws Committee and is a member of the Negotiating, Recording and Grievance Committees.

Hale, a member of the Seattle Symphony, has been elected to the Orchestra Committees of both organizations. He served on the SSOPO Orchestra Committee for six years, three of which he was Chairperson. During that time he was also a member of four successive Negotiating Committees negotiating collective bargaining agreements covering then SSO seasons.

Betty is associate principal violist with the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra.  She has served on the PNBOPO Negotiating Committee and has been chair of the Orchestra Committee.  She drives a red Miata.

Tom Dziekonski, Guild Forum newsletter editor, is 1st violinist with the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra, where his wife, Virginia, plays in the cello section. They have never been members of the AFM, and they chose careers in engineering and finance when the AFM had a corrupt grip over Seattle. Their backyard fence is covered with more than 1,000 license plates from musicians around the world. They recently added a l959 Edsel and a 1979 Ford Pinto Cruising Wagon to their fleet of 12 cars.
